Jenny's optimism to a fault keeps her marriage together, but she's growing weary of sweeping problems under the rug. Her husband Cal, a gaslighting narcissist, doesn't fit under the rug so she does what any woman would do in her situation; she convinces him to take sailing lessons, sell the house, buy a boat, and sail around the world with her. 

     What choice does Jenny have but to believe their sinking marriage will right itself, Cal will forget his pregnant mistress, and they''ll get home in time to spend Christmas with their twin daughters.

     She'll get to the bottom of Cal's secrets, but he doesn't budge, retells his lies, and Jenny locks him up in a hull compartment. She'll free him when he confesses. But storms rage in the big open ocean and she has to trust her training, taking brave steps to save the boat and think about saving Cal.
